Building Information Modelling - Program Description
Building Information Modeling (BIM) is an intelligent 3D model-based approach that provides architectural, engineering, and construction professionals with insights and tools for efficiently planning, designing, constructing, and managing buildings and infrastructure. The course addresses the rapidly changing needs of the built environment sector in response to the rise of BIM as a working practice. BIM managers are responsible for advising clients, internal and external stakeholders on the benefits of BIM, as well as executing and managing significant BIM procedures.
This necessitates demonstrating a thorough understanding of the BIM process as well as the capacity to build a project environment in which BIM can reach its maximum potential. In this course, students will be guided through each major project step, from strategy definition to handover, operations, and end of use. At each level, the trainer will demonstrate how to match technical requirements with project management abilities, giving students confidence in implementing BIM approach. The course teaches the key skills and competences needed to use BIM-Building Information Modelling to AECO-Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Operations projects.
